A logo is the part of a brand people see first, but it is rarely where a brand starts. The brands that last are built on clear decisions about who they serve, what they stand for and how they should sound. The visuals come after — and they work because those decisions came first.
At thirDimension Graphics Atelier we build every brand identity in four stages. Here is what happens in each, and what you can expect from us.
1. Discovery
We start by listening. We want to understand your business, your customers, your competitors and where you want to be in a few years. For an existing business, we also look at what you already have — logo, packaging, social pages, signage — and what is and isn't working.
By the end of Discovery we share a short summary of what we heard, so we both agree on the starting point before any design begins.
2. Strategy
Strategy turns what we learned into direction. Together we define your brand's personality, the audience it speaks to, and the feeling it should leave behind. We also look at how others in your category present themselves, so your brand stands apart instead of blending in.
This is where we agree the brief: what the identity must do, where it will be used, and what success looks like.
3. Creation
Now the design work begins. We explore logo concepts, colour palettes and typefaces, and test them where they will actually live — a packet on a shelf, a profile picture on Instagram, a signboard, a business card. Seeing a logo in context tells you far more than seeing it alone on a white page.
We start with three logo concepts and share work step by step for your feedback, so there are no surprises at the end.
4. Delivery
Once the identity is approved, we prepare what you need to use it consistently. The exact deliverables depend on your business and where the brand will be used — typically final logo files for print and digital, your colour codes and fonts, and guidance on using them. Where a project calls for it, we also design the first applications, such as stationery, packaging or social media templates.
Why the order matters
Skipping straight to the logo is tempting, and it often produces a design that looks good but doesn't fit the business. Doing the thinking first means every visual choice has a reason behind it. The result is a brand you can grow with, not one you redo in a year.
